Flossing

The best method for you to keep your teeth and gums healthy is to brush your teeth at least twice every day and floss once. This prevents the buildup of bacteria around, between and on all the surfaces of your teeth that can cause gum disease and decay.

Start flossing by removing about 18 inches of floss from the floss dispenser. Wrap most of the floss around either your index or middle fingers, whichever is most comfortable for you.

Slide the floss between your teeth in a zigzag motion and form a ā€œCā€. Make a C shape with the dental floss as you wrap it around the tooth. Then carefully pull the floss upward from the gum line to the top of the tooth.

Make sure to floss between both sides of the tooth.
